Sometimes patients have porcelain crowns and bridges that may fracture due to trauma. Often the crown or bridge is still functioning to protect the tooth and can be salvaged without being replaced with an adhesive composite restoration that replaces what has fractured away. Below is a case where the patient had trauma to the mouth that broke the porcelain off their bridge. The decision was made to repair rather than replace the bridge.
